An experienced Safety Advisor is required for an immediate start within our busy health and safety consultancy. The Leinster based role is a mixture of site based and moving from site to site to carry out audits / inspections etc.
The hours are 8 am until 5 pm Monday to Friday. Expert Safety provide an abundance of training for this varied and interesting position across Construction ,Pharmaceutical, Sporting, Agriculture, Equestrian and other sectors.
As a Health and Safety Advisor you will:
- Identify site specific hazards and ensure they are addressed in the site documentation and in a practical manner on the site.
- You will carry out site safety inspections and conduct accident and dangerous occurrence investigations, within your designated area of responsibility.
- Carry out Risk Assessments & complete Method Statements.
- Contribute to the Toolbox talk topics, discussion and delivery.
- You will liaise with Site Managers to ensure Health and Safety documentation is up to date on site.
the Ideal candidate for this role is required to have the following:
- A third level qualification in Health and Safety preferred. A recently qualified candidate will also be considered.
- 1+ years’ experience in a similar role (preferred)
- A full clean drivers license
- Fluent in English
- Excellent written and communication skills

- Its selling a 100% Irish owned and designed Safety App for occupational health and safety in the workplace
- It applies to all places of work – ideally aimed at the man in the can with 2 lads and a few ladders.
- It can be modified to suit the users need on a case by case basis e.g. put a logo on, amend a form
- All HSA templates are used
- Its user friendly
- Full training is provided
- Your job will be to contact companies offering the app (via phone calls, emails or visits, whichever you prefer). If you manage to get a contract for 12 months.

- Consultative Sales Approach: Understand client needs and tailor product offerings to best suit their business requirements, focusing on improving safety protocols, compliance, and overall efficiency.
- Product Demos & Presentations: Lead live demonstrations and presentations of the application to showcase its benefits and features.
- Negotiation & Closing Sales: Manage the sales pipeline, negotiate pricing, and close deals with clients.
- Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.
- Market Research: Stay up-to-date with trends in the H&S industry and the construction sector to adapt your sales approach accordingly.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales, with a preference for experience selling software or technology solutions, would be a differential.
- Familiarity with occupational health and safety regulations, particularly in the construction industry, is a plus.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to close sales effectively.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with the ability to work independently.
- A passion for helping businesses improve safety and operational efficiency.
