For all our Clients in the Agricultural and Equestrian sectors, the HSA will be carrying out a targeted inspection campaign from 02.09.2024. The focus will be on the critically important issue of working at heights. In the last 10 years 98 people died as a result of workplace working at height matters with 20 of those persons being the AGRI sector. This prompts the question – for each of these people that died, how many people have had life altering injuries.
Remember: Working at Heights is about two core issues – MEN and MATERIALS falling from a height. Always be mindful of fragile roofs, lone working, improper us of ladders and work at height equipment and of course inclement weather.
