Despite the fact that the training requirements pertaining to abrasive wheels changed some years ago, there is still confusion on this issue. The law now specifically states that the operator of any piece of equipment with an abrasive wheel e.g. grinder, consaw etc. is required to have training. Therefore the user of the grinder / consaw etc. must have abrasive wheels training and not simply the person who changes the disc. Expert
